"Martin and Elieen have been fantastic through our whole journey of getting Hank from them. Martin was on hand for any questions and kept me up to date with how the litter were getting on including sending some pictures. You can tell how much they love the puppies and have given the best of care to introduce them to the world. We love Hank already and he is a perfect example of the Labrador breed."

“ As soon as I saw the Corrybeg litter on line I just knew they were the dogs (and people) for us. From the time I got in touch with Martin for the first time, until we brought Reuben home, Martin and Eileen have been a pleasure to deal with. They have been responsive by phone and email and have stayed in touch on WhatsApp. It was great getting updates on the puppies' progress as the weeks went by and they welcomed us into their home for visits. As he should be with Teddy and Harper as parents, Reuben is obviously a stunningly handsome boy! But his personality is equally wonderful. He is cuddly, curious and outgoing and so far afraid of nothing. He has obviously been very well socialised to all household noises and he just loves to play. However, he also has an off switch and a very chilled demeanour, making him the ideal buddy for our young grandchildren who visit regularly. His breeding, along with Martin and Eileen's devoted care and attention in their first few weeks, has meant we have brought home a little superstar and we look forward to enjoying life with him for many, many years to come.”

My husband and I had Labradors in the past and were looking for a rescue when we found out that Harper had given birth to six pups. We had initially wanted a rescue because, as a veterinary surgeon, I hold strong views about dog breeding. Too often dogs are bred without appropriate health checks, and there is a fine line between breeders who see breeding as a money-making business and those who genuinely care about the health, welfare and genetic diversity of their dogs. We knew both Harper and Teddy, the parents of the litter, and felt ethically comfortable considering one of their puppies. We were confident the pups would be given the highest standard of care. Both Harper and Teddy have excellent temperaments, were fully health-checked, and the breeders were mindful to avoid inbreeding. We had also previously highlighted that if Harper had a litter we would like a pup from her due to her temperament and nature. From the time the puppies opened their eyes—around ten days old—we were welcomed to visit regularly. This not only allowed us to bond with the pups early but also gave us the opportunity to see first hand how they were being raised. Importantly, the breeder matched each pup to the most suitable new owner, a process we fully supported. Martin built a spacious whelping pen inside the house, ensuring the pups were always supervised and cared for around the clock. The environment was kept scrupulously clean, Harper was well looked after and never lost condition, and the puppies were socialised early to household sounds, people, and later, outdoor environments and visits to friends’ homes. Routine healthcare was meticulously followed: the pups were wormed, nails clipped, weighed weekly, and Harper underwent a veterinary check after whelping. Before going to their new homes, each puppy received its first vaccination. The breeders also provided a comprehensive contract safeguarding the puppies’ welfare, including a clause that they would be returned to the breeder if necessary. Each new owner received a detailed welcome pack, and in our case Martin and Eileen personally sat down with us to discuss feeding and puppy care. In summary, these puppies received nothing less than a five-star start in life. As a veterinary surgeon, I only wish every pup could benefit from such excellent care and love. We were fortunate to bring home a healthy, confident, and happy female Labrador who has brought us enormous joy. I firmly believe the way these puppies were raised gave them the very best foundation. Martin and Eileen were wholly committed to their physical and mental wellbeing, setting a shining example of how dog breeding should be done. Well done to Martin, Eileen, and of course Harper—for raising six wonderful, healthy, and confident little Labradors.

It’s been a pleasure to work with the puppies owners from day one. We were fortunate to have assigned all the pups from week one. This has allowed us to share how each puppy was progressing and arrange visits. The pairing was primarily to keep a pup from this fantastic litter of Harper & Teddy however so rewarding to see our pups head off to such wonderful homes.
Many will be returning for their holidays an added bonus.

“The level of love and care given to this litter of puppies and their parents by Martin & Eileen is really outstanding and everything has been done to ensure their best physical health and mental well being - diet, vaccinations, worming, insurance, socialisation and acclimatisation. Since the day the puppies were born their weighs, feeding, toilet habits and development have been carefully monitored and recorded. We thought long and hard about getting a puppy and it was not a decision taken lightly. The love and care which has gone into looking after the puppies (and their Mum) from before they were even born until the day we collected Monte at 10 weeks of age, has given us a lot of reassurance and confidence. All our questions – and there have been a lot! - have been fully answered during several visits and we were given a great information pack. Thanks to Martin & Eileen, we have a very healthy, happy, confident and well-adjusted puppy who is willing and eager to learn and, most of all is great fun.“

“From our first conversation with Martin when the pups were just days old to the day we took Mac home Martin and Eileen were great. We asked a lot of questions, and they were all answered with great patience. Mac himself is a star-he is a confident, biddable pup who has settled into our home perfectly. He keeps us on our toes as he loves to eat leaves and paper, and isn’t generally too happy to give them up! But he has learned basic commands and has been out for his first wee walks with no issues. He is a joy to have around.“
