Having grown up with Labradors, upon returning home from work abroad 30 years ago, I was ready for my next dog.

A colleague who worked at a kennel while at University in Edinburgh pointed me in that direction. I was fortunate to be given advice and support seeing me return home with two Labradors, one a stunning fully trained Peg Dog at 3 year old, and his pup.

I trained the puppy myself and the three of us picked-up at various high profile shoots before adding a third dog, a beautiful Chocolate girl who turned out to be a very accomplished Gun Dog.

The gang grew over the years as did my interest in traditional working Labradors.

On the hunt for a new recruit I was again very fortunate to meet and be trusted by an experienced breeder who allowed me to  have the perfect boy (Teddy). This afforded us the opportunity to add Showing to our agenda and work to develop dual-purpose Labradors. Harper followed in his footsteps a year later. 

Teddy has done exceptionally well  within the Show Ring with numerous firsts, best of breed and group one placings. Accumulating to best and reserve best in show. 

Both Teddy & Harper regularly pick-up every fortnight.
